WINE: SUMMER SHIPPING
To maintain the integrity of our WINE products during the hot summer months, we strongly recommend shipping via FedEx Cold Chain or FedEx Overnight. In order for your wine to reach you in optimal condition, an adult (21 years of age or over) must be available to sign for delivery on the first morning delivery attempt (business address strongly advised). As a courtesy, FedEx will place an automated phone call and email to inform you exactly when your shipment will arrive. All packages shipped via "Cold Chain" will arrive up to 3 weeks from purchase date.
*Please note if you choose any other method for shipping (ie, FedEx 2 Day Air or Ground) during this period, OR if there is no one available to sign for the first delivery attempt of your FedEx Cold Chain or FedEx Overnight shipment, Round Pond cannot guarantee the integrity of our wine and therefore will not be able to replace those items.
FOOD: SUMMER SHIPPING
To maintain the integrity of our gourmet FOOD products during the hot summer months, we strongly recommend shipping via FedEx 2 Day or FedEx Overnight. If you choose FedEx Ground during this period, Round Pond cannot guarantee the integrity of our food products and therefore will not be able to replace those items.
WINE: WINTER - SPRING SHIPPING
To ensure maximum quality of wine deliveries, all shipments outside of California require expedited shipping. All expedited orders with WINE will ship out of our warehouse Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. If you require your wine shipments to be shipped out after Wednesday, please contact our concierge to make arrangements (888) 302.2575. It normally takes us 24 hours to process your orders Monday - Friday before it is shipped out. Shipping rates will be determined and displayed prior to checkout.
In order to ship wine compliantly into your state, the common carriers (UPS and FedEx) require an over 21 adult signature. We strongly recommend a business address whenever possible as an adult is usually available during business hours to sign for packages. Our shipping department will send an email on the first attempt to get an updated address, applicable reroute fees charged to Round Pond Estate will be passed on to the order purchaser.
*Please note, after the 1st delivery attempt has been made, Round Pond can no longer take responsibility for damaged products. After the third attempt, the package returns to us. We will contact you again to get a new address for the order and, at that time, applicable reship charges will be applied to your account. In order for you to make sure your wines are shipping to the appropriate address, we provide multiple email notifications and shipping notifications to the email address on file before the shipment leaves our warehouse. Orders containing only our gourmet food items however, will be left at the door without signature.
